Providing fresh creative direction for a FTSE 100 corporation’s annual report
We embraced the opportunity to apply our new brand language for Kingfisher, bringing visual lightness to a weighty corporate document
We provided the creative direction for Europe’s leading home improvement retailer and FTSE 100 multinational Kingfisher’s annual report. We aimed to create a readable yet design-led feel for the 172-page document, which was compiled by a corporate communications consultancy. Drawing on the brand assets that we had already produced for Kingfisher, we provided a style guide and advised on the application of the key graphical elements, including photography, typeface, colours and icons.
The result is a legible report that meets all the formal and legal requirements which apply to a document of this kind, but which also benefits from an overall feel that is fresher, lighter and more visually conscious than might usually be associated with annual report design.
