Saudi-based furniture and interiors brand Aura partnered with Jean-Paul Gaultier to create a fresh new take on the traditional Arabic dallah (coffee pot) set. The limited edition collection, in aid of the Ensan charity, was launched with an exhibition and dinner event in Dubai, for which we designed a complete temporary environment. Working to a brief to create “an immersive bubble of Jean-Paul Gaultier stripes”, our team proposed an atmospheric space with white walls and floors featuring a blue stripe motif running in contrasting directions. We created dynamic product positioning on mirrored, internally-lit plinths, allowing the china pieces to be viewed and photographed to maximum advantage. We also created a full set of graphics for the project, including the application of the Aura and JPG logos, on-site graphics, invitation cards, tote bags, and point of sale materials for use in-store after the duration of the exhibition.
