Reggiani

More information +

Building on the new identity, Reggiani commissioned us to create a trade show stand for Light & Building Show in Frankfurt.

L&B is a leading World Trade Fair for Lighting and Building Services Technology, more than 2,700 exhibitors present their world firsts at Light + Building in the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre.

The brief was to design a space to showcase their latest products, while also maintaining a hospitality feel to greet old and new clients.

The result was a ‘black box theatre’-inspired design, a show space where visitors could recharge their batteries (both metaphorically and literally), and take their time experiencing Reggiani’s extensive offer in an ambient and informal way.

GoodHome

More information +

The home improvement sector hasn’t changed in decades; design and customer experience have all been but forgotten, but today’s customer expects more.

As market leaders, Kingfisher sought to make a much needed step change in the Home Improvement sector and create its own product brand that stood for great design, value and service, and roll it out across its European banner stores.

We crafted a confident typographic mark that embodied the simple, friendly, and authoritative brand personality that would cut-through the chaotic communication environment. The palette was inspired by nature, the Kingfisher sustainability commitment and the materials that allow us to celebrate the world of home improvement.

Responsible for the entire brand ecosystem we provided a detailed toolkit with which GoodHome is brought to life, from the identity, illustrations, typography, iconography and patterns, to the photographic direction, materials and colours which will appear in over 50 different applications in store, online, and across Kingfisher’s wider business.

West Brompton Crossing

More information +

West Brompton Crossing has a long history of independent shops and businesses, but like so many other local high streets, it had drifted into a tired, muddled row of shops that no longer served or appealed to its local community.

As the gateway to the Earls Court Masterplan, led by the property development firm Capco, something was needed to reinvigorate the forgotten high street,

Whilst the existing buildings were repurposed with a light touch refurbishment, Public came on board to instil a sense of place through a strong yet simple common handwriting; a palette inspired by the west London houses and city skyline shopfront concept informed by the landscape of the area, implemented through the painted handwriting was a deliberate gesture in the spirit of the pop-up high street.

Part of the initiative is a dedicated community shop ‘The Crossing” that can be used at no charge by local businesses, students and entrepreneurs for temporary takeovers and exhibitions.

West Brompton Crossing has now become one of West London’s hottest new destinations for shoppers and foodies alike with a mix of curated independent shops and stylish restaurants, including the team behind the hugely popular Pergola on the Roof.

Purcotton

More information +

Forward-thinking Chinese brand Purcotton is well-loved by consumers for providing lifestyle essentials made with 100% natural cotton – made even more popular due to its no nasties approach. They have long pioneered the virtues of Cotton with its sustainable and organic benefits, expanding their product offer through textile innovation across all areas of living and wellbeing. The retail narrative centres upon making the story of cotton ‘extraordinary’, affecting all parts of the store and communication design strategy, all aimed to excite and educate customers…

Public created a captivating space to reflect the ethos and core values of Purcotton. The concept comprises 4 iconic moments each referencing small experiences such as a circular cotton field to tell the story of cotton, and a lab as a space to tell the story of their non-woven products. Designed to be re-used, there was a focus on sustainable materials, including recycled acrylic, the moments will be developed and used again in different locations.
